Belonging comes to mind as an important thing about family, and certainly about a church family; the feeling of being seen, heard, and cared for.

The support and encouragement I’ve found here, both spiritually and emotionally, was especially helpful during the pandemic. I continue to be lifted up by many friendships that were strengthened and formed in this time. I went through many losses in the past two years, and I could not have gotten through it alone. My faith, and Bel Air family, helped carry me through.

I’ve been on the Hospitality Team for over 4 years, and it was the best decision I could have made to feel connected and be a part of a group that is making an impact. Our goal is to make every person coming to church feel welcome, seen, and acknowledged.

I’ve also been in the Women’s Career Group for over 5 years, supporting each other in work discussions and navigating life’s challenges. The advice and ideas from these amazing women, as well as friendship, is truly invaluable.

My Life Group has been the most wonderful, amazing group of people I could have become a part of. The comfort, support, fun, fellowship, meaningful discussions, and knowledge is such an important part of my Bel Air connections.

I can’t stress enough how finding community at Bel Air is part of what makes our church feel like family. The friends and connections I’ve made here has been such a blessing and a gift. I found my church home.
