Bel Air Wilderness creates opportunities for people to encounter the Living God through Scripture, creation, embodied experience, shared adventure, and intentional attention.

We believe God is already present. We don't go into the wilderness to manufacture spiritual experiences. We create space to become attentive to the God who is already speaking, already moving, and already near.

Through retreats, adventures, and formation, we step away from the hurry, noise, distraction, and demands of ordinary life. We walk, explore, listen, rest, share a meal, encounter Scripture, and make room for silence.

The wilderness is not simply a backdrop. The trail teaches. Weather teaches. Silence teaches. Limits teach. Beauty teaches. And through it all, we learn to pay attention to God.

We withdraw in order to return differently.
