What Is Seen & Known?
At Bel Air Church, we believe God is always at work—often in quiet, unexpected ways that transform lives and bring hope to our city. Seen & Known is a collection of stories that capture those moments. Each one reveals how God’s presence is rebuilding hearts, homes, and communities through ordinary people living out faith every day, everywhere, and with everyone.
These stories are written by volunteers from our Media Team—our “Story Shepherds.” Their mission is to tell how God is rebuilding lives and communities through His people, not by explaining doctrine but by witnessing His love in action. Every story points to God’s work more than human effort, reflects our church’s spirit of hope and humility, and invites others to see where they might join in.
The goal isn’t to capture every story, but to remind us that the love of Jesus and His Spirit are alive and active—here in our church community and throughout our everyday lives. If you’ve witnessed a story that deserves to be Seen & Known, we’d love to hear it. Submissions will be prayerfully stored and reviewed, with a few selected for our Story Shepherds to honor and write—so our whole church family can be encouraged and reminded of the ways God is moving among us.

Story Shepherds use their gift of writing to bear witness to God’s love in action—capturing moments of transformation, faith, and hope that remind us His Spirit is alive in our everyday lives.
The mission of our Story Shepherds is simple yet sacred: to tell stories of how God is rebuilding lives and communities through His people—every day, everywhere, with everyone. Each story reflects Bel Air Church’s tone of hope, humility, and community, inviting others to recognize God’s presence and join in His work.
This small team—limited to five volunteer writers—exists to protect both quality and spiritual integrity. Our writers who call Bel Air their church home are trusted by our community to tell its stories with care, humility, and faithfulness.

Submissions will be reviewed as openings on the team become available.
