“Open Spaces” Sermon Series Study Guide

What if the landscapes around us could help us see God and our lives more clearly? Open Spaces invites us to step beyond the limits of our immediate circumstances and encounter the God whose presence, promises, and purposes are revealed throughout Scripture. From the sky that reframes Abram’s future to mountains that lift our eyes, rivers that mark new beginnings, deserts that teach dependence, forests that picture rooted and fruitful lives, canyons that remind us of God’s presence in shadowed places, and oceans where God makes a way forward, each landscape offers a new lens for faith.

Across these seven weeks, we will practice holy attention, learning to recognize how God meets His people, enlarges their perspective, and calls them forward. When fear narrows our vision, God invites us to look again, trust His character, and discover that His story is always greater than what we can presently see. Use this weekly study guide with your Life Group to explore each passage more deeply, share what God is revealing, and encourage one another to live out His Word together.
