Bel Air Preschool Gala & Auction 2026 Recap
On Friday, April 17, 2026, the Bel Air Preschool community gathered at the beautiful Skirball Cultural Center for our bi-annual Gala & Auction, an evening centered around generosity, connection, and investing in the next generation.
This year’s theme, Continuum: Timeless Connections, was inspired by Psalm 78:4:
“We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord.”
The evening reflected on the story God continues to write through Bel Air Preschool: honoring the past, celebrating the present, and inspiring the future for generations to come. Throughout the night, the calla lily served as a symbolic thread woven into the event’s design and atmosphere, representing eternity, rebirth, and the lasting impact of nurturing young lives with love, care, and faith.
Investing in the Future of Bel Air Preschool
Heading into the evening, our goal was to raise $100,000 to directly support the students, families, and educators who make up the Bel Air Preschool community. Funds raised during the gala were designated toward several meaningful initiatives, including:
Enhancing the school entrances with a new courtyard ground mural and refreshed landscaping
Redesigning the gardens to create a richer gardening and farming experience for children
Expanding tuition and education funding to invest in continued growth and development opportunities for educators
Bringing in best-in-class speakers and parent education experiences that extend learning into the home
Community members participated in a variety of ways throughout the event, including contributing silent and live auction items, sponsoring portions of the evening, and supporting the mission of Bel Air Preschool through generous giving.
Auction offerings ranged from vacation homes and VIP experiences to beauty services, memberships, and children’s classes, all helping create an exciting and impactful evening of generosity.
A Night of Incredible Generosity
Thanks to the overwhelming support of our preschool families, sponsors, donors, and broader community, Bel Air Preschool surpassed its fundraising goal and raised an incredible $141,935.
These funds will now directly support:
Professional development opportunities for all staff
Parent education experiences and family learning resources
Enhancements to the lower campus entrance
End-of-year bonuses for our dedicated teachers
The generosity displayed throughout the evening was a powerful reminder that when a community comes together with shared purpose, the impact extends far beyond a single night.
