When you begin a relationship with God through faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are now forever “In Christ.”These truths are now yours to explore and experience in Christ.

Take time daily to read these truths, to discover the Scripture references behind them, and to be reminded of what is yours to experience in Christ.

In Christ, we have….

A NEW REALITY

– We are set free from sin (Romans 8:1-2)
– We were chosen before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4)
– We are adopted into God’s family (Romans 8:15)
– We are justified freely because of God’s grace (Romans 3:24)
– We have access to God (Ephesians 3:12)
– We have been washed in the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 1:5)
– We have been predestined to be like Jesus (Ephesians 1:11)
– We are set free from Satan’s kingdom (Ephesians 2)
– We are loved eternally (1 Peter 1:5)
– We are seated in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3)
– We are complete in Christ (Colossians 2:10)
– We are secure in Christ (John 10:28-29)
– We are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37)
– We are born again (1 Peter 1:23)
– We are sheltered under God’s wings

A NEW IDENTITY

– We are God’s friend (James 2:23)

– We are ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20)

– We are salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13)

NEW POSSESSIONS

– We have a home in heaven waiting for us (John 14:1-2)

NEW ABILITIES

– We can do all things through Christ (Philippians 4:13)
– We can come boldly to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16)
– We can declare liberty to the captives (Isaiah 61:1)
– We can pray always and everywhere (Luke 21:36)
– We can overcome the enemy (Revelation 12:11)
– We can tread Satan under foot (Romans 16:20)
– We have spiritual gifts to build up the church body (1 Corinthians 12)
– We can love because God first loved us (1 John 4)
