Honoring Pastor Care

On February 14, the Rev. Dr. Care Crawford reached a tremendous milestone of 35 years serving as a pastor with Bel Air Presbyterian Church.

There will be a future day when we will be able to announce an in-person celebration for Care, but in the meantime, there is a special way in which we would love for you to participate in honoring her.

We are compiling a digital scrapbook of photos and videos and would love your submission by Thursday, April 15.

You can follow this link and upload your digital memories from a computer or smartphone.

NOTE: The deadline has been extended!

Second, Care has a deep love for Prayer Labyrinths as an immersive way to experience spiritual formation. Many of the cathedral’s in Europe have prayer labyrinths where one can “walk to the center” in prayer and reflection. As St. Augustine once wrote, “it is solved by walking.” What is solved? Whatever it might be, walking with Jesus is the first step to deep transformation.

With your donations, we will be able to bring a permanent prayer labyrinth just outside our Sanctuary on our church campus for many to enjoy and draw closer to Jesus for many years to come. We have already figured out how Care can guide people through the labyrinth without her physically being there and are thrilled this can be a lasting legacy for spiritual formation.

Your tax-deductible contributions can be made through our secure, online giving portal (select Prayer Labyrinth in the dropdown menu) or through check mailed or dropped off at our church campus with Prayer Labyrinth in the memo line.

Labyrinth: France, Eure et Loir, Chartres, Notre Dame de Chartres Cathedral

Thank you in advance for your participating in celebrating our beloved Care Crawford!
